IBEW Local 1466 represents AEP electrical workers in Ohio. The Objects of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is to organize all workers in the entire electrical industry in the United States and Canada, including all those in public utilities and electrical manufacturing, into local unions.
As a nonprofit labor union that maintains a firm but friendly relationship with the employer, AEP, we work hard to fairly protect the interests of our members while helping both the employer and employees accomplish their goals.
By legal and proper means, we elevate the moral, intellectual, and social conditions of our members, their families, and dependents in the interest of a higher standard of citizenship.
